THIS IS THE BRAND NEW 2nd EDITION COMPLETE WITH EVERYTHING LISTED BELOW + 120 ADDITIONAL DIE CUT COUNTERS, DETAILED BEACH LANDING DEPICTION, DETAILED PARADROP, NEW PLAY AIDS AND EXPANSION RULEBOOK.
D-DAY: The Great Crusade by designer Danny Holte portrays the invasion of France by Allied forces during World War II. Suitable for solo and team play, the game covers Operation Overlord from June 6th and depicts the action in Normandy until July 6, 1944.
Turns represent one day each. A hex represents 1.5 km and unit size ranges from company to brigade, with most units depicted as battalions and regiments.
The MiH goal is simple: publish a quality game on compelling military and political topical matter. We feel Danny Holte delivers on that goal and MiH will play its part in the form of top-quality counters, maps and play aids for the game. This is an extensive game on the subject and no skimping on counter quantity was allowed - there are plentiful counters depicting the combat units at scales from company on up - lots of units to micro-manage as the German player!
