After defining the social structure, so as to place into perspective characters "met" in the fantasy world, this book details how such imaginary persons are garbed, what weapons they might have, how they travel, where they live, what they eat, and so forth. Indeed, in its own way, this is a rather monumental treatise, information-wise, compacted into a small size.

It includes names for fantastic races, topographical features and titles for nobility.
Vol. V: Insidaie covers five vitally important aspects of game adventure design: back story, antagonists, motive, locale and plot. Each chapter builds upon the details of the last, teaching the hallmarks of good writing. Working through the guide will aid writers in creating adventures for any role playing game or fiction project; provide an array of ideas, character types, backgrounds, places of encounter and danger, and plot devices needed to propel characters deeper into the story.
Vol. VI: Nation Builder has its primary focus on the political, social and economic entities that comprise states in both modern realistic and fantastic settings. Each subject is supported with an ongoing series of detailed examples and miniature case studies, so that Nation Builder can serve as both a guide to creating campaign settings and a ready-made sourcebook and sample milieu for writers, designers and the like |
