An all new fantasy miniatures game comes to your local store in the form of Mighty Armies. Each Mighty Armies contains a complete army of 40-50 Super-Size 15mm miniatures, rulebook, dice and measuring aid - in fact, everything you need to begin wargmaing in one easy to use package!
Mighty Armies is a fast to learn game of great tactical depth. You will be playing within ten minutes of reading the rules and your first game will take less than half an hour - but Mighty Armies will take many months to truly master.
Each Mighty Armies box set contains a complete army but it is also upgradeable with forthcoming blister packs to give you even more tactical options.
The Orc army contains an Orc Warlord, a Shaman, a Standard Bearer, 16 Orc Horde Warriors, 9 Black Orcs, 8 Goblin Horde Warriors, 8 Orc Archers and 4 Goblin Wolf Riders, ready to despoil any enemy.
The Orc Horde is a disturbing sight on the battlefield, a vast roving mass of vicious warriors intent on random pillage and destruction. Led by Orc and Goblin Hordes, this force is probably one of the most varied in Mighty Armies. At the head of the army sits the Orc Warlord, advised by his mischievous Shaman. Both have bodyguards of Black Orcs and are supported by both Archers and Goblin Wolf Riders.
The greatest Warlords add far greater units to their hordes. The Orc Trebuchet is renowned for its ability to smash apart entire groups during a battle and can even fell the Barbarians mighty War Mammoth! For Warlords looking for something a bit more up close and personal, it is difficult to beat the Hydra and its tamer, a great lizard capable of rending the staunchest warriors apart. |
